国土の大部分がドラケンスバーグ山脈の山中に位置し、標高が1400mを超えることから「天空の王国」をデザインし、ソト族の織物に見られる文様を幾何学的にとらえ、工芸的な趣きで山々を表現しました。昼夜を同時に描くことで変化をもたらし、重ね染めにより一層深みが増しています。国旗にも描かれているバソトハットをかぶる人々が描かれています。 The Kingdom of the Heaven is designed, as most of the land is located in the Drakensberg Mountains with the altitude exceeds 1400m. Grasping geometrical patterns found in the Soto tribe cloth, the artist expressed the mountains with artistic touch. The coexistence of day and night brings changes into the design. In addition, layer dyeing increases depth of the Kimono. People are wearing basotho hats from Lesotho's national flag.
