国章からヒントを得て、荒波を超えて渡った帆船、水平線から出る太陽、繁栄の象徴の車輪、食の源のヤシ、特産品である胡椒、ダイヤモンド、蝶、多く生息するアフリカゾウを描きました。国旗の11本の縞が表す11名の偉人にちなみ、すべてのデザインが11の数にこだわってレイアウトされています。 Inspired by the national emblem, the kimono depicts sailing ship crossing rough waves, the sun coming out of the horizon, wheel of symbolism of prosperity, palms as meal sources, special products pepper, diamonds, butterflies and African elephants that inhabit there. All the designs are laid out with a focus on 11 numbers, in association with the 11 great people represented by the 11 stripes in the national flag.
祝意と友好の意味を込めたバルーンをデザインの中心として、その中に国旗と切手から取材した花を描き織り上げました。 The obi uses the balloon design with the meaning of celebration and friendship as the main theme, and draws and weaves the flower collected from the flag and stamps.
